Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Daily Marketer ("we", "us") collects when you use dailymarketer.io, why, who it's shared with, and the choices and rights you have.
Who we are
Daily Marketer is a sole proprietorship based in San Diego, California, USA. We are the "controller" of personal information collected through this site. Contact us about privacy at hello@dailymarketer.io.
The short version
- Files, images, copy and links you use in our tools are processed on your device and never sent to us.
- We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google AdSense to show ads that keep it free.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, these only run after you agree. Elsewhere, you can turn them off at any time from Your Privacy Choices.
- We don't sell personal information for money. Using data for targeted ads counts as "sharing" under some US state laws, and you can opt out.
Information we collect
Content you add to a tool. Images, files, ad copy, links and email text are processed in your browser. We don't upload, receive or store them.
Information stored on your device. Our tools save your drafts, presets and settings, and your privacy choices, in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
Usage information, through Google Analytics (when allowed): pages visited, tools used, time on page, the site that referred you, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 doesn't log or store IP addresses.
Advertising information, through Google AdSense (when allowed): cookie and device identifiers, IP address, browsing activity on this site, and ad interactions, used to show, personalize and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
Emails you send us. Your email address and message, used only to reply.

You can change your choices at any time from Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some ads may still appear.
How we use information and our legal bases
- Running and securing the site: our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure service.
- Analytics: your consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; our legitimate interest in improving the tools elsewhere.
- Advertising: your consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; elsewhere, our legitimate interest in funding a free site, subject to your right to opt out.
- Replying to emails: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Google acts as our service provider for analytics and as an independent party for advertising. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center, opt out of many other ad companies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu, and block Google Analytics with the opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep information
Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Advertising data is kept by Google under its own policies.
International transfers
We're based in the United States, and Google may process data in the United States and other countries. For people in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) and standard contractual clauses.
Your rights in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we don't hold tool content or accounts, most data is held by Google; we'll help with any request we can.
Your rights in California and other US states
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws may have these rights:
- Know and access the personal information we collect, use and disclose.
- Delete and correct personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. Use Your Privacy Choices.
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights.
- Appeal a decision we make about your request, by replying to our response.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, for that browser. We don't respond to "Do Not Track" signals, which have no agreed standard.
What we collect, in legal terms. In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (cookie and device IDs, IP address), internet activity (pages viewed and interactions), and approximate location. We collect them from your device and through Google, for analytics, advertising and security. We disclose them to Google for those purposes, and advertising use may count as "sharing" or "sale" under state law. We don't collect sensitive personal information, and we don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Making a request. Email hello@dailymarketer.io. We'll respond within 45 days and may need to verify your request. You can use an authorized agent, who must show written permission from you.
Children
Daily Marketer is a tool for working professionals and isn't directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and tool content never leaves your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.

Our tools link to platform documentation and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here and update the effective date. If changes are significant, we'll ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
