Build clean, consistent tracking links for Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, X/Twitter, Twitch and email, tag a whole list of URLs at once, and see which GA4 channel each link will land in before you launch.

Use a medium that starts with "paid", like paid_social, or one containing "cp", like cpc. GA4 only counts traffic as Paid Social when the medium matches that pattern and the source is a social site. "social_paid" doesn't match, so GA4 files it as Organic Social.
Placeholders the ad platform fills in when someone clicks, like {{campaign.name}} on Meta or {keyword} on Google. You set the link up once and every ad reports its own name.
Google Ads auto-tagging already sends campaign data to GA4. Manual UTMs are still useful for other analytics tools, but keep auto-tagging on.
They're replaced with the ones you enter here. Other parameters and #anchors are kept, and UTMs go before the #.
